YIN YOGA WORKSHOPS AND COURSES ONLINE

THE LOWER BODY
This course is for all yoga bodies!
An outstanding new series of workshops with detailed notes and class plans with anatomical images.
In each workshop, Sarah starts with a short lecture introducing the area of target through slides and images. A Yin Yoga class follows where Sarah demonstrates the postures with use of appropriate props. You’ll learn multiple Yin Yoga postures to effectively stretch a specific area of the lower body depending on injuries or fragility. These postures have not been previously presented in this way.
You’ll practice Yin Yoga with Sarah demonstrating throughout ending with a relaxing savasana and come away with a unique understanding of how to apply what you’ve learned for yourself and others.

What are teachers saying about this new series?
“Sarah’s monthly Yin Yoga Workshop style classes are alway such a caring and warm environment to learn in. These workshops not only provide the opportunity to dive deeper into Yin but most importantly help to consolidate all the learning from the last four levels of training with Sarah. The opportunity after each class to ask any further questions makes you feel so supported and taken care of that you won’t want the series to end! The notes and anatomical detail provided in each session, offer teachers the opportunity to enhance their learning, but also support and bring greater focus to cue points and anatomy. Thank you Sarah for what is really tantamount to a level 5 training.”
YIN MERIDIAN SERIES – Live Online
COMING WINTER 2025
The embodied experience of Meridian Nidra + Yin Yoga
In this course you’ll be led on a journey through the Meridians whilst you are lying down with your eyes closed! What better way to learn is there when you are so relaxed?! Your knowledge of the Meridians will almost certainly improve!
Each week you will receive a pre-recorded lecture on each of the meridian pathways with 3D visual imagery so that you’ll have time to absorb this information before the live practice.
Enjoy Meridian Nidra for the Meridian pathways from the Lungs to the Kidneys following the 24 hour Meridian Cycle. Our practice will be a relaxing entry into the Yin Yoga experience through guided Visualisation and the embodied experience. We’ll also tune in to the meridian pathways through targeted Yin Yoga postures.
This is an experiential course which is learned through the felt experience rather than through lecture and charts. Information which comes ‘through the body’ rather than ‘through the brain’ is retained in a far more powerful way especially when it is a pleasurable one.
Attend live or via replay, it’s your choice!

3. THE SPIRIT OF YIN YOGA RETREAT – HERE
The spirit is an essential part of us which is often dimmed with an overactive nervous system. Reigniting this part of ourselves and finding the resource within us to flicker the flame of creativity, spontaneity and joy can be found when we move towards ourselves allowing the nervous system to reset in deep stillness and rest, with our mind/intention guided towards lighting up our spiritual essence.
Sarah will guide you through the meditative process of relighting and remembering this part of yourself through both long held Yin postures in this restorative and nurturing workshop setting a new memory bank within yourself to practice and come home to again and again.
So often in our Yin Yoga practice the message becomes convoluted and we find ourselves trapped in the theory and the science behind Yin Yoga and forget that the essence of the practice is to deeply let go of perceptions, ideals, beliefs and rhetoric and to come home to your own true state physically and mentally. The invitation and reminder to find this again in a beautifully led and safe environment can be the perfect way to rediscover that part of yourself which is inherently free and liberated from the confusion and discontent in life.

5. YIN YOGA & COMPASSION – BOOK HERE
What is Compassion?
How do we apply it to our lives today?
The cultivation of compassion is at the heart of our inward journey in yin yoga. Practicing how to cultivate compassion can seem elusive let alone trying to explain how to do this in our teachings. Science has shown that a truly compassionate view improves our mindset and overall mood which has a direct effect on the health of our heart. Wouldn’t we all want others to be free from suffering and to help others be free?
This workshop will offer helpful practices with explanatory slides on the practice and sequence to guide you in cultivating deeper compassion to help forge the way to a happier contentment, stability and connectivity with ourselves and most importantly with others too.
“Thank you Sarah,
For an amazing, powerful workshop.
I felt really relaxed and so grateful to be guided by your voice.
I just realised it’s so crucial to fill in our own cups before attending to others. And you held the space for that today. Reminding us compassion isn’t just an emotion but so much more.”
It takes a huge amount of courage to take a closer look at the dissatisfaction of our lives and it’s not possible to just use the word compassion as an antidote to our difficulties or to just turn it on or off. Being together as a group can help to provide the motivation and inspiration to remember to include compassion in our daily practice and to feel the difference this makes to our day.
